Delivery and Installation of your Shutters
Q.  When will my shutters be ready for installation?
During your FREE in-home design consultation, you will choose an installation date and have that date confirmed by our Customer Service Department. The Home Depot Interior Shutters program guarantees an installation date in as little as 3 weeks or less.
Q.  How do I know that my shutter order is being completed on time?
You can track the progress of your shutter order using access to our online Customer Tracking System that your Shutter Specialist will introduce you to. To track the current status of your shutters you'll simply need your customer login info given to you at the time your order is placed. This will grant you access to all order tracking data.
Q.  What do I need to do before installation can take place?
Before installation begins, we ask that any previous window treatments, such as blinds or draperies, be removed, we offer we offer to take down the existing window treatments at an additional cost. Please make sure that any furniture or other objects blocking access to the windows or openings be moved. For the safety of your pets and our installers, we ask that pets not have access to the room(s) in which the installers are working.
Q.  Are the Home Depot Installers fully licensed and bonded?
The Home Depot works only with installers and home service professionals who meet the highest standards for experience, know-how and customer service. At The Home Depot, we screen and perform background checks on all of our installers before we send them out on any job, to ensure they have all applicable licenses and insurance.
Q.  Do I need to be present during installation?
Yes. We want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your shutters and their installation before we leave your home.
